Our family loved our stay at Stargazer, the outdoor space was just what we needed to break from city life. The hot tub was used every day, our 3 year old especially enjoyed that. Our 1 year old loved chasing the chickens, and both of them spent all their time outdoors with us. The play tent, fairy garden & fairy lights at night time are perfect for the children; we have some great memories from our stay. The glamping areas are nicely spread out so you have privacy The kitchen was very well equipped, the shower had all the hot water we needed and the honesty shop is stocked full with useful and delicious things. Dom & Helly are very welcoming and lovely people. They can’t do enough for you and are always on hand if you want for anything. We’ll be back

If Carlsberg did Glamping they'd do Stargazer glamping. Super comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Tents with better beds and furnishings than most boutique hotels. Very well equiped kitchen, heavenly shower with lovely shower products. A wonderful easily heated hot tub, a blazing fire pit, masses of outside seating with hammocks and swings. All set in super private spaces inside the most glorious gardens. Our hosts were so welcoming and attentive. Three gorgeous doggies who only arrive if you want them to. Free range chickens wandering about. A fab honesty shop. Thank you Dom and Helena for hosting our girls reunion. It'll be an annual event I'm sure. Don't hesitate- just book it.

Amazing! Every detail thought of Beautiful venue, excellent facilities, warm and comfy beds, fantastic friendly and helpful hosts, so peaceful but plenty to do, safe for kids to go off and explore, beautiful views, perfect little kitchen, lovely welcome groceries, honesty shop was really useful, couldn’t fault anything!

Fabulous weekend stay with my husband and children. Dominic was so helpful when we arrived. The tent was amazing and every need was catered for. We loved the little shop, and the local meat and jams. The children loved the dogs and Guinea pigs and we all loved the hot tub! Will definitely be recommending.

We loved this little patch of Herefordshire heaven! Spacious, beautifully designed site, full of grassy paths to explore weaving through the wildflowers. So much imagination has been put into this place it really was magical! Our kids (5 and 2) loved roaming free, playing in the hammocks, on the swing and trampoline and visting the guinea pigs and chickens. Very friendly hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Top facilities with everything available for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Beds were wonderful! We stayed in the little bear pitch at the bottom of the site and loved the privacy and sitting in the hot tub overlooking the fields at the end of the day. We will certainly be back and would recommend highly to anyone who will listen.

Absolutely amazing!!!! Our first time glamping and we were not disappointed! Dominic was so accommodating. On arrival there was a delicious welcoming basket of which all went down a treat. We had the enormous pleasure of staying in the Big Bear of which was stunning, beds were so comfortable. Equipped with all the essentials and more.  The hot tub was an added bonus.  Kitchen was unique and everything you required was supplied to an high standard. Constant hot water supplied so we all had lovely hot showers.  The attention to detail was 5⭐️. You have the freedom to roam around the breathtaking grounds where we discovered the delightful‘honesty shop’ plus much much more! Definitely will be returning.  Thank you for having us

We have just had an amazing weekend the weather may have been typically British but we have been well looked after and we wanted for nothing … you really do not need to pack anything but clothes and food !!! Thank you for a lovely weekend will be booking again for another weekend

And the magic happened! This absolutely fabulous glamping retreat was just what the doctor ordered… a top notch site with all mod cons… each space with own kitchen, shower, toilet, bbq and hot tub. In a beautiful peaceful setting… with stunning views. fabulous accommodation.. comfy beds and sofas… sports activities …ping pong.. badminton and swing ball… a communal area with a great site shop. Binoculars to stargaze! To top all of that fabulous hosts ❤️ DOM and your family thank you so much …. It’s an absolute must! 🙌😍 we will be back! X

We had such a lovely time, such a beautiful plot. The facilities are amazing the decor is Beautiful.  My three year old loved it the big white tent, the tree swing and found the chickens hilarious.  The tents, so luxuriously kitted out didn’t feel like we were camping. They were super cosy a little heater goes a long way in the cooler temperatures.  Everything you need is there. The little touches everywhere make it that much more amazing, and the homemade cake was lovely 😋 Would 100% recommend.

Well what can you say about this idyllic gem of a place?? I am still speechless due to the perfection of this place. Have just returned from a 3 night break staying in the Mahal otherwise known as Big Bear and can not get over the detail owners -  Helena & Dominic have thought of & put in place everything  to make the site pure perfection. There is everything you need for pure relaxation - warm, snuggly comfy beds, towels, hot water bottles, robes, hot tub, fire pit, fully equipped kitchen & a fabulous Welcome Pack which includes a gorgeous home cooked cake made by Helena as well as Prosecco, Orange juice, tea, coffee, bread, and eggs. Hosts are warm & welcoming & are only too happy to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as it can be without being to over intrusive. I am already looking at when I can return. Huge Congratulations to Helena & Dominic for creating such a great oasis of indulgence whereby you can step out of the rat race & into pure indulgence.

Every so often in life you stumble across a gem that is so special you almost don’t want to share it with anyone else, and Stargazer Glamping was definitely such a find! In fact we had such a lovely time, we ended up extending our stay for an extra night! Our break was everything we could have hoped for - a digital detox in an idyllic setting and a real sense of “getting back to nature”, but without any compromise on creature comforts.  So much thought has gone into giving guests a truly magical stay and it really shows. The tent was spacious, the kitchen well stocked and the beds were comfy and warm.  Our hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive and the site had everything we could possibly have needed. Even our notoriously difficult to please kids had the time of their lives, declaring it “the best holiday we’ve ever had”. From making friends with the chickens to toasting marshmallows over the fire pit, we made so many treasured memories during our break, and will definitely be back soon!

We have just returned from our two night stay….I didn’t want to leave! Such a beautiful place, our tent was perfect, kitchen area was spotless along with shower and toilet area and the hot tub was fabulous! We will be back very soon!

Just the best place to visit on our doorstep! It has everything and even if it didn’t, Dom and Helen would have gotten it!!! We arrived to a homemade cake and chilled bubbles in an amazing outdoor kitchen set up, hot tub fired up and ready to jump in and a whopping fire pit that we pretty much lived by the entire weekend!!! And that was just the outside….. The tent…well! What a tardis!!!! It was absolutely stunning with its 3 piece sofa, super comfy beds with snuggly duvet and pillows!!! Games supplied, pizza oven and local breakfast food to hand and just masses of ground for our kids to run comfortably around in!! Cannot wait to head back in the summertime!!!!  We spent a week at stargazer and it was one of the best holidays I’ve ever had. The only downside was the noise from the road which after a couple of days we were used to and didn’t spoil our time at all. The tent was comfy, everything was provided. The kitchen area was lovely to cook in. The hot tub was amazing. The hosts were kind and helpful. Loads to do only a short drive away or plenty to fill your time on-site. As you pull in off the road to Ross-on-wye the site that greets you instantly puts you in a magical frame of mind. Able to walk around and pick apples from the tree, say good morning to the chickens that are roaming free or share your coffee with the sheep in the next door field, stargazer glamping was a wonderful way to spend our time.Nov 2, 2021 by Claire Kennard Verified Review

 Just returned from Stargazer after a magical two night stay. The whole set up was fantastic and everything you'd expect from a glamping experience. The welcome pack was gorgeous and included home baked bread and cake and of course prosecco for the grown ups and a bowls of chocs for the kids. The beds were all super comfy and luxuriously made with plenty of extra soft blankets and hot water bottles (it was end of October but we were totally warm enough!) The hot tub was perfect and we were lucky to have clear skies to view the milky way. The kids loved the hammocks and swings dotted around and we made use of the pizza oven and the fire pits which made our evenings really special. This place is absolutely out of this world! Every single thing has been thought of and taken care of. The tents are so cosy and so comfortable and the kitchen's are so well equipped. Dominic (the owner) makes sure you have everything you need. (He'll even take your luggage to your site with a little trailer!) They provide a wonderful little welcome hamper including bread, milk, orange juice, prosecco and fresh eggs and tea bags etc. You could come entirely empty handed and have everything you need! The setting is just beautiful. The views and surroundings are stunning and the grounds are great for having a stroll. There's bunnies and chickens and a badminton court. There's also a wonderful vegetable garden where you can pick some fresh veggies for your dinner. We planned to do so much on our holiday but all we wanted to do was stay at the site because it was so wonderful! Having a glass of prosecco and toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, keeping you warm (and the blankets they provide) then jumping in the hot tub and looking at the stars...it really was absolutely perfect!! I cannot fault one single thing about this place. It really is fantastic in every possible way and I cannot wait to book again to go back! Great for couples or for families! Just amazing. 5 Stars

What an amazing place. From the moment you pull up, Dominic cannot do more to help and show you round explaining everything. The "tent" itself is beautifully furnished and the beds are so comfy, the kitchen has everything you need, the shower is just perfect, there is nothing we could fault. The hot tub was lovely, views are fantastic, we just had a great time and felt so relaxed. It's also the personal touches - a bottle of prosecco, milk, bread, eggs, butter all left in a cool box in the kitchen and best of all....a home made cake which was just delicious. The honesty shop is a great help too for any little bits you might need and the communal area with a pizza oven is great. It really was a fantastic stay, made even nicer by Bonnie - their gorgeous dog having had pups which are just adorable which we had a cuddle with. Magical place 5 Stars

This glamping experience exceeded all expectations. Every little detail and finishing touch you can tell has been so well thought out and there is absolutely nothing that the site doesn’t have .. the beds are super comfortable and warm, the kitchen has everything you might need, the many hammocks dotted around the site for star gazing at night or sunbathing during the day were perfect and the honesty shop is so well stocked with essentials. Let’s not forget the pizza oven cooking pizzas to complete perfection.. the location itself is also very beautiful with the sun setting across the field, the variety of trees with character making the place feel extra magical, especially at night. Simply stunning. 5 Stars!!

I can only add to what others have already said. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were being cosseted. Helena met us on arrival and took our luggage to the tent with her little tractor and trailer. I say tent, it is more like a boutique hotel without solid walls. Comfy beds, luxurious sofas and rugs, towels and beautiful little lamps. Having done that she showed us the amazingly equipped outdoor kitchen, shower, composting toilet, fire pit and wood fired hot tub. These things were individual to each tent. Then it was on to the communal honesty bar and store where all your needs are catered for. This area contains the pizza oven which you are free to use. There are two further tents, one of which our friends had and the rest of the grounds are laid out with secret little areas to discover. Relaxing areas with chairs, beds or hammocks are dotted around the site. There is a fairy garden for the younger children, chickens roaming the site and rabbits in the run. A great area to explore and all lit up with solar lights in the evening. Our hosts delivered us logs to burn which I had great fun chopping. They even brought their 6 week old puppies over for the kids to see and play with. Dominic has great knowledge of the 250 trees in the garden and is happy to share. In reality I shouldn't be saying how wonderful this place is as it may then get fully booked and we desperately want to go again. But I have to be fair to Helena and Dominic. Beautiful glamping site. 5 Stars

We stayed here for two nights in the smaller 'Orion' bell tent with our two children (12 and 10). This is one of the most gorgeous sites I have been to. It is set in mature gardens with lovely views and loads of wildlife (we saw bats, birds, dragonflies) as well as the owners' friendly chickens and rabbits. There are only three glamping pitches here and we really had a lot of space to ourselves. The tent felt huge even with four of us in it, and was beautifully furnished. The pictures on the website almost don't do it justice! Each pitch has its own fully equipped outdoor kitchen, shelter, dining table, firepit, hot tub, hammock, lounging chairs, toilet and shower... Plus there are some communal areas such as the honesty shop/bar, a hammock garden, badminton court, sunset viewing benches. Highlights for us were sitting in the hot tub watching the bats fly about as the sky got dark, and then stargazing around the fire.
